Cold Streak in Seattle

IMG_6153

The past 4 days have been …

BBbbbrrrrrrrrrrr COLD!!

… like a high of 32 during the day, and a low of 17 at night!  AND of course, this dry freezing cold comes with gorgeous, clear, sunny skies.  It is difficult for me to keep the kids inside all the time with that.  But man oh man, should we decide to go out, we NEED to bundle up.  And hats are a riot about now because the air is SOOO dry, and the heaters are all on.  The hair on all of our heads stands straight up!

Friday I decided to take them out to our “train track park” (as the kids have nick-named it).  The bright side is that NO ONE is there, and there is no fighting over the swings!  BONUS!!

IMG_6154Their hands were so frozen that it made it hard to do much on the playground.  But they played until Keith gave up… and he eventually did.  But it was good to get out, and I know Rosie enjoyed a chance to chase the ball.  With no one there, she went leash-less.  Gotta love that!
