Family Pancake Dinner @ Syre

Chloe’s school has an annual “Family Pancake Dinner” as a fundraiser for the PTA.  And clearly quite successful!  We didn’t go last year, but Chloe was really determined to go this year.  So, we put everyone in the car, and headed down the hill to the school.

 

We arrived and were rather surprised at the turnout at the school!  There were TONS of people there.  The PTA was smart in that they planned it in conjunction with the Scholastic Book Fair going on in the library.  Like many families, we ate our dinner, and then wandered over to the library to look at the books.  Dinner consisted of fresh pancakes, eggs and sausage.  Then they had a table of fruit (bananas and blueberries for the pancakes), juice, milk and coffee for the adults.  They had different moms and teachers serving the food.  Chloe’s teacher, Mrs. Lang, was actually serving in the line we were in.  That was fun to see her!
