Our Frozen Stream

With the temps as low as they were last week, the stream in front of our home was FROZEN!  Pretty amazing, really.  The kids quickly discovered this and it quickly became the play spot throughout the weekend.

And what is it with kids that they are ALWAYS warm enough?!  I would go out, bundled up with a hat and gloves, to watch them play and I would be freezing!!  They are out there in minimal clothing, totally contented.  CRAZY!

Ice Skating was the name of the game – not a game that Mommy would choose – but THE game, nonetheless!

After 2 days of this, we were saved from any cracked noggins or broken bones… for this, I am thankful!!
