The kids and I explored a new park yesterday. I had heard about this HUGE park in Everett that had a great playground and sprinkler park. We decided to investigate.
Sure enough! And they had LOTS of things to climb – as Keith quickly discovered. He is a MONKEY! Seriously! Do you see most 2 year olds climbing, by themselves, without hesitation, no an 8’ tall toy?!
The kids followed each other and “pal”ed around!
Once the kids were warm enough by climbing, swinging and just running around, I was able to convince them to put on their suits and go in the sprinkler park. It was adjacent to the playground so we didn’t have to move our stuff.
There was a beautiful mosaic on the entry to the sprinkler area… couldn’t resist a photo!
They stopped for a drink now and again… but back to the water! Keith would hunt me down, and wrap himself around my legs to get a reaction. It was a hot day so he felt really cold when he was wet! He loved that!!

The kids had a fun day. We even got popsicles from the ice-cream man who was parked in the area!
