A Bus Adventure

A rainy day, with nothing planned…what to do?  Chloe LOVES riding her school bus every morning.  So I was thinking that maybe an excursion on a city bus could be fun.  I thought we could stay fairly close to home and just hit the Edmonds Library by bus.  I got online, found the route near our house, and off we went!…

With the rain, it was a good excuse to grab umbrellas since we would be walking a bit.  As we headed up our street, Chloe said, “Hey Keith!  Come on… hold my hand!”

Cue mommy = PICTURE MOMENT!!

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

We headed up the hill to the main street at the top where we waited for our bus.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here it comes, the #131

   

Once on the bus, the kids went straight to the back where they could sit in the highest seats.  Once we got to Edmonds, they didn’t want to go to the Library.  So we hit the pet store and played with the kitties, then headed down to Starbucks, puddle jumped, played at the toy store and caught the bus home.  Overall, a success!  Mommy made some miscalculations on the way home and caught the bus going the wrong direction.  But with some extra time and a friendly bus driver, we were back on track in no time.  Thus, the “adventure”!
