The Buenemans

We have some dear friends that have been going through a difficult time. So this past weekend, we headed down after church to spend the day together with them. The Walz family joined us, so we had all our adorable children together for 2 weekends in a row... pretty darn amazing really! The Buenemans live in Covington. For those of you who are not from the area, Covington is about 45 miles from our home, about a 1 hour trip. It is not that it is SOOO far, but when you have a family on both ends, and activities in the middle, it is difficult to get together as often as we would all like. But that is going to be changing... we decided this weekend! We need each other - our families - and we are going to make an effort to get together more than twice a year which is how often it has been in the past several years.

Taylor, Chloe & Kate are all the same age (born the same year). Taylor is 3 weeks older than Chloe, and Chloe is 4 months older than Kate.

And then there is Kelsey & Keith. Kelsey is 5 1/2 months older than Keith, so they are close to the same age as well.

I just love watching them all socialize, communicate & play together. And really, with a room full of 5 toddlers, they do so well. Aside from the typical "my turn" comments, they really tend to show each other a lot of love. It's almost like there is an inherent understanding that their parents love each other dearly, as friends, so they do to. Kinda cool...

Here are the girls playing in these fun, bendable tubes. SILLY!

Finally, I caught some video of Keith riding his tricycle. He JUST figured it out this week, and is loving it! He will often be caught yelling, "I'm doing it! I'm doing it!"... although I wasn't able to get him to do that on video (of course!) Enjoy!
