Well, we took Keith back to the doctor today because the sound of his cough had changed, and he spiked a fever last night. The doctor listened, gave him an inhaler, listened again, took x-rays, and said he has pneumonia. Ugh...
There is no way to determine if it is bacterial or viral, so they have him on antibiotics along with an inhaler every 4 hours. The poor kiddo looks just miserable, and really, IS just miserable. He just whimpers, doesn't really talk, and surely doesn't eat a thing. We are supposed to give him his antibiotic with food or milk, but can't get either down him. Any suggestions?
Prayers would be appreciated as we fight this bug and nurse our Super K back to health.
