Both my kids needed fall/winter shoes. Keith had a growth spurt this summer. With this, his shoe size went from 6 1/2 to 8 1/2. SO…he has officially outgrown his tennies. The only thing that fit him are his sandals. And that won’t but it for winter!
With the quickness of their growth, and with the arrival of hard times, I hit Payless Shoe Source. They each got a new pair of shoes – Keith brown tennies, and Chloe warm boots. DONE!
The humor comes in that after shoes were on and ready to go, the kids decided to put on some backpacks from the store, pull up a shoe stool, and “wait for the bus”. Chloe is teaching Keith how to wait for a school bus. So there they are, Dora & Spiderman, sitting in the middle of Payless, waiting for the bus. You gotta LOVE them!!
