Feels like we have been building tents like crazy! The kids LOVE them! The first one was up in the living room. We pulled out the sleeper sofa and worked around that. This allowed the kids to tunnel up near the top of the bed. Truly a hide-out.
Poor Keith… he just moves freely through it, and tends to knock it down without intending to. Chloe lays into him about it, so I have to referee the activities.
The next tent Chloe built all by herself. She took the shade portion of our gate fence, and formed it into a tent. She brought out a towel and really decided to camp out under it while Phil worked close by in the garage.
Funny thing is that she built it in the side of our neighbor’s yard! Good thing Irene doesn’t care. She was probably looking out the window with a big smile on her face at our little girl!
The last 30 minutes she played in it, it rained. Personally, I think it is MORE fun when it rains, because then you feel like the tent is really doing something! Plus, the sound of the rain on the tent is always a bonus!
