Phil’s parents are ticket holders for the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. Phil’s dad was out of town for a time, so she gave us tickets to one of the shows that she knew we would enjoy more than they would. It was a Paul McCartney band that played along with the orchestra. Show and band were called “Live and Let Die”. It was AWESOME!
The guy who performed as Paul McCartney sounded like him. You would never know otherwise. He has studied him, the Beatles, their music and Paul’s mannerisms for his entire career. And he plays all his own instruments/piano, etc.
Before the concert, Phil and I went out to dinner at FIVE Bistro in Edmonds. We had a Groupon for $25 worth of food for $10. Screamin’ deal! And food was decent. Overall, a really fun night out for us folks!
