The day prior to the recital we visited Auntie April to get Chloe’s hair and makeup done for dress rehearsal. April is magic when it comes to this stuff. She actually did my hair & makeup for my wedding… 13 years ago.
When I asked her if she would be interested in doing Chloe’s, she jumped at the opportunity. With 3 boys of her own, she had no girls to use her talent on! She gladly accepted mine!
VOILA! Ballerina!!
The day of the recital, Auntie was there not only to watch, but also to do touch up!
Love you, Auntie!!!!
The recital consisted of 2 shows – a 1:00 and a 4:00pm. The first show was attended by April & my mom “Gammie”. The second show held Team Walz, Daddy and Grandma.
She did great on stage! I was afraid she would be nervous and reluctant. But she is like her mommy, and likes the lime-light! There is a rush that comes from performing on stage, and Chloe felt it! The day after the recital, she asked if she could do it again! That’s my girl!!

And here is Grandma and Daddy presenting the ballerina with the traditional bouquet of flowers.
