The Walzs got a new BBQ this week as a gift from James' dad who came to town for a visit. We got the pleasure of being present when they initiated it on Thursday night.The evening started off with "Mounsey's Lemonade", named after some friends of theirs. It was homemade lemonade mixed with one shot of Vodka and one shot of Amaretto. WOW! Seriously... so very good!
For dinner, James grilled up some fresh salmon, topped with sweet Vidalias, dill & butter on a cedar plank. Sides included a salad by moi, and some fresh grilled vegetables! Whoo hoo!! VERY YUMMY!
The kids played in the yard with "Grandpa Jim" while the adults enjoyed some catch-up time. And we concluded it all with a yummy fruit dessert and Muscato Canelli.
